Our Staff
Lois Wolff, PTLois Wolff graduated from the University of Oklahoma. I have been blessed with great opportunities since graduation having worked at The Ballpark in Arlington Texas and coming to Arizona nearly six years ago where I had the privilege to work at Southwest Sports Medicine's Tempe office. I have worked side-by-side some of the best orthopedic surgeons in Texas and Arizona, sports medicine physicians and PAs learning what it takes to do better, be better, and make a difference in patient care. All of this and more challenged me to open AZ SportsCenter: Physical Therapy & Conditioning to make a real difference in health care and utilize what I've learned and pass on the gifts I've been given to other people. To borrow from Dr. Kelsey I help "rebuild athletes" of all ages and levels of needs and goals. When not working I enjoy traveling, cooking, reading, snow skiing, wake boarding & air chairing, along with spending time with family and friends. Anna Thatcher, PT, DPT, OCS, SCS, ATC, CSCSAnna graduated from the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training and Master of Science in Physical Therapy. She received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions. She is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist and Sports Clinical Specialist. Her clinical experience has focused on pediatric sports medicine, post-surgical rehabilitation, knee/hip/shoulder injury rehabilitation, and working with female athletes. A former gymnast for 15 years, she has a special interest in working with gymnasts and dancers. Outside of the clinic, she is adjunct faculty for the physical therapy program at ATSU-Arizona School of Health Sciences and provides medical coverage for various high school, college, community, and gymnastics events. Anna has lectured on pediatric sports medicine topics and co-authored chapters on shoulder rehabilitation, elbow injuries, and lower extremity injury prevention/rehabilitation. When not working, Anna enjoys running, hiking, and traveling.
Jennifer Peterson, PT, DPT, ATCJenn Peterson graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. However, she still has a spot in her heart for her alma mater, Arizona State University, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. She is a native of Arizona and recently got married to her long time friend, Justin. She has a true passion for helping people and will never give up on a challenge. When she is not at work or not hanging out with her family and friends she enjoys cooking, running, golfing, snowboarding, and playing soccer. I believe that AZ Sports Center and Ms. Lois feel as passionate about physical therapy and the rehabilitation process as I do, which is why we make such a great team. What makes us stand apart is that we not only treat the injured body part but the entire body involved ensuring the athlete will not only return to his/her sport but be better and stronger than before. Ms. IreneIrene brings over 10 years of experience in the medical field, doing front desk, billing, as well as, office administration. Her ability to connect with people and help them feel welcome and comfortable makes Irene a natural for the growing needs of the practice. Irene absolutely loves her job and enjoys seeing patients fulfill their goals and get back to their desired health. She has been happily married since 1999 and in her free time she enjoys spending time with her dog, crafts and toy trains. |
